These are the questions homeowners, landlords, and property managers ask us most often after water damage in the Las Vegas valley. The answers reflect what we actually do — fast water extraction, professional structural drying, mold remediation, and the repairs to put your property back to normal.
After water damage: first steps & emergency help
What should I do immediately after water damage?
If it is safe, stop the water at the source and stay clear of any electrical hazards. Move what you can out of the water and take a few photos. Then call us — the faster we extract the water and start drying, the less the damage spreads. We respond quickly across the Las Vegas valley and can walk you through stabilizing it on the phone.
How fast should water damage be handled?
Immediately. Within hours, water wicks into drywall, baseboards, cabinets, and flooring, and mold can begin within 24 to 48 hours. The sooner we extract the water and set drying equipment, the less you lose and the lower the cost. Call as soon as it is safe.
Do you offer emergency service?
Yes. Water damage is an emergency, so we respond quickly to extract water and start drying before it spreads. Call as soon as it is safe, day or night, and we will talk you through stabilizing the situation while help is on the way.
Can you handle ceiling leak damage?
Yes. We dry out the ceiling and the rooms above and below, treat for mold if needed, and repair and repaint the damaged area. If the leak comes from a pipe, the roof, or HVAC, we restore the water damage and can point you to the right trade to fix the source.
Can you help after an appliance overflow?
Yes. Washer, dishwasher, water heater, and refrigerator-line overflows are some of the most common jobs we handle. We extract the water, dry the structure and cabinets, remediate mold if present, and repair the damaged drywall, baseboards, and flooring.
What we do
What does water damage restoration include?
A full restoration usually includes emergency water extraction, professional structural drying with moisture monitoring, mold remediation when needed, antimicrobial treatment, and repairs to damaged drywall, baseboards, and paint. Our team brings 25+ years of experience and training in water restoration, structural drying, and microbial remediation.
Do you handle mold?
Yes — mold remediation is one of our core services. We contain the area, remove and bag affected materials, treat surfaces with antimicrobials, and dry everything thoroughly to discourage regrowth. Mold remediation is not a state-licensed trade in Nevada, and our team is trained in microbial remediation (IICRC AMRT coursework).
Do you document the damage for my records?
Yes — thorough documentation is part of every job. We capture room-by-room photos, moisture readings, and a clear scope of the damage and the work performed. You can keep it for your own records or share it with your property manager or insurance carrier.
Do you document everything before starting repairs?
Yes. We record the original condition with photos and moisture readings before any work begins, document the drying process, and capture the finished repairs. That before, during, and after record protects you and supports any insurance or owner conversation.
Can wet drywall be saved?
Sometimes. Drywall that was only lightly dampened and dries quickly can often be saved; drywall that stayed wet, swelled, or crumbles needs to be removed and replaced. We use moisture meters to make the call, dry what can be saved, and cut out and rebuild what cannot.
Scope, the plumbing repair & licensed work
Do you fix the plumbing leak itself?
We restore the damage the water caused — extraction, drying, mold treatment, and repairs. The pipe or fixture repair is a licensed plumber's job; once the source is stopped, we take it from there and handle the full restoration. If you do not already have a plumber, we are glad to point you to one.
Do you bring in a licensed general contractor for anything?
Water damage restoration, mitigation, and mold remediation are not state-licensed trades in Nevada, so we handle them in-house. For major structural reconstruction that requires a building permit, we complete the rebuild with a licensed general contractor. We do not provide asbestos or lead abatement, which require separate licensing.
Insurance, property managers & service area
Do you work with insurance?
Yes. We document every job thoroughly — photos, moisture readings, and a detailed scope — and can work directly with your adjuster. Many customers use our documentation for their claim. We do not determine coverage or guarantee that a claim is approved, but clear, professional documentation makes the conversation much easier.
Can you help property managers?
Yes. We give property managers and landlords priority response, clean documentation for the file, and reliable restoration for rentals, turns, and occupied units across the valley — water extraction, structural drying, mold remediation, and the repairs needed to put a unit back in service.
Do you serve Henderson?
Yes. We serve Henderson and Green Valley along with Las Vegas, North Las Vegas, Summerlin, Spring Valley, Enterprise, Paradise, Winchester, Sunrise Manor, and surrounding Clark County communities. Call or message with your address or ZIP and we will confirm response time.
Have a question that is not here?
Every loss is a little different. If you are not sure how bad the damage is, how fast it needs to be handled, or what restoration will involve, just ask — we will give you a straight answer and, if it helps, come take a look.
